It has a medium base, single circuit operation for easy connection, 660 max wattage and can be installed on a 3-inch or 4-inch electrical box. It features one-piece construction with a sturdy plastic body. The 3-prong grounded outlet is rated at 125VAC 15 Amps and is always on, independent of the socket. This lamp holder fits a wide variety of applications and is easy to install in any room in the home. It is commonly used to add ceiling mounted standard E26 sockets in closets, garages, basements, utility rooms and attics.
