This ceiling mount occupancy sensor uses passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect movement in the surrounding space and automatically turn the lights on and off based on motion in the room. It is designed to replace a standard light or fan switch and is ideal for 120V residential applications including entryways, hallways, closets, storage areas, garages, or any other area that requires a light or fan to be active while occupied. The PIR sensor detects changes in the infrared energy given off by occupants as they move within the coverage area. When occupancy is detected, a self-contained relay switches the connected load on. An internal timer automatically turns off the load after a selectable period of inactivity ranging from 18 seconds to 10 minutes. This sensor also has adjustable sensitivity, time delay, and light level settings so that you can customize it for your application. It has 360-degree coverage with a radius of 10ft - 13ft when mounted at a height of 10 ft. It also has a detection angle of 150 - 180 degrees. This sensor is ETL Listed and comes with a 1-year warranty.
