Being an electrician means you are constantly working on different projects that require different electrical components. Whether you're installing lighting systems, inspecting electrical systems, or repairing electrical malfunctions, projects require electricians to have the necessary materials on hand to be prepared. A lack of these electrical components can lead to electricians finding themselves struggling to complete projects for a variety of different reasons.
Here are 10 components you'll need in order to successfully and effectively do electrical work!

1. Cable Zip Ties
Maxxima offers a variety of different sized nylon zip ties in packs of 500, that enable you to have a clean and organized setup. Zip ties are most commonly used for connecting, supporting, and bundling cables and cords for any electrical job. They are critical for ensuring electricians stay organized and do not have unnecessary wires or cords poking out.
2. Zip Tie Mounts
Maxxima's zip tie mounts act as anchors for cables and cords. Coming in packs of 200, electricians can stick the self-adhesive side to the desired surface and fish a cable tie through the mount to bundle wires and cords together to optimize space. These mounts also feature a screw hole for electricians to utilize if the high-adhesive side of the mount does not provide enough strength to stay in place.
3. Reusable Cable Ties
Our reusable cable ties come in three different sizes in packs of 200, allowing electricians to choose their preference based on the project they are working on. Featuring velcro for easy application and removal, these cable ties are most often used to tightly secure cables, cords, and more in place, leading to a cleaner and more organized setup. Our cable ties have a tight and secure hold when fastened, but can be easily released by a person.
4. Liquid Tight Electrical Conduit
Maxxima offers a variety of different non metallic, liquid tight electrical conduit to fit the needs of your current project. The main use of this electrical component is for protecting wiring distributing power from a central grounding circuit-breaker box to outlets, appliances, lights, and more! Our electrical conduit is strong and flexible, allowing for easy wire pulling and maximum protection from the outside environment.
5. Electrical Conduit Fittings
We offer a range of different electrical conduit fittings to meet the requirements for your latest project in multi packs.. Conduit fittings are designed to be used for connecting conduits to electrical boxes. Having high resistance to moisture, Maxxima's liquid tight conduit fittings provide maximum protection and support for the cables and wires being used.

6. Grounding Pigtails
Pigtail wires are an essential component for electricians because they are used to ground devices or appliances to steel boxes. Maxxima's solid pigtail wires come in packs of 100 and are flexible, allowing for electrical circuits to be grounded easily to the metal box, helping to relieve stress on the device.
7. Pipe Straps for Conduit
We offer a variety of different pipe straps for conduit installation in packs of 25, 50, and 100, to cater to the specific project you are working on. Pipe straps are used for securely and effectively mounting conduit to a wall or other structure of support. Maxxima's pipe straps feature an oversized bolt hole to make alignments of the fastener more efficient and less tedious.

8. Electrical Wire Connector Screws
Maxxima's UL listed wire connectors are imperative to an electrical project, mainly used to make a tight connection with little interference between two, or more wires in an electrical box. Our connectors come in packs of 250, 500, and 1,000, respectively, and come in the five main colors of wire; blue, orange, yellow, gray, and red. The blue wire-screw is suitable for two 22-gauge solid wires up to a maximum of three 16-gauge solid wires. The orange wire-screw is used most commonly for connecting at least one #18 and one #20 wire, or four #16 wires and one #20 AWG wire. The yellow wire-screw is used to connect four #14 wires with one #18 wire. The gray wire-screw for up to two 22AWG stranded wires or two solid 16AWG wires. Lastly, the red wire-screw is most frequently used when connecting up to two #10 and two #12 wires, or three #12 wires.
9. Power Strips
Oftentimes while working on a project, electricians will figure out that there is a significant lack of outlet space for all of their tools and cords. Power strips enable electricians to utilize more outlets while working, as power strips are used where electrical appliances in the vicinity demand more wall outlets than available. The cord attached to a power strip offers more space from the wall outlet to the workspace, making it easier for electricians to operate.
10. Electrical Tape
Every electrical project is sure to call for the use of electrical tape at one point or another, and Maxxima offers black, insulating tape in packs of 10 rolls. Electrical tape is most often used for covering and insulating a broad range of cables, wires, and other materials that conduct electricity.
These components are imperative when doing electrical work and without them, completing projects can be an arduous task. Utilizing these ten easy to purchase components when doing electrical work will enable you to efficiently and effectively complete projects with reduced stress!
