Description
Our new construction rough-in downlight plates are compatible for most slim recessed lighting. This recessed light plate kit features punch outs so you can fit either 1", 2", 3”, 3.5" 4”, 5" or 6” canless downlights by easily removing the punch outs to make the hole larger. Built with galvanized steel our mounting plate ensures that they are durable through wear and tear. For both interior and exterior new construction requirements, the metal plates are a must have accessory for contractors to keep in their tool kit for slim downlight installations. The adjustable arms / hanger bars help in placing plates to joists without any hitches and work for 16” & 24” beam spacing. These plates are for planning your lighting layout prior to hanging drywall to hold the precise spot in the ceiling where the ultra-thin downlight will be mounted. For both commercial and residential buildings, these plates can be implemented to add extra support when building codes require it.
